What HODLMM is
HODLMM (High-throughput, Orderbook-style, Decentralized Liquidity Market Maker) is Bitflow's concentrated-liquidity AMM on Stacks. Instead of spreading your liquidity across the entire price curve like a traditional AMM, HODLMM lets you place liquidity in specific price ranges, called bins, so your capital earns fees only where trading actually happens.
If you've used concentrated-liquidity protocols on other chains (Uniswap v3, Meteora DLMM, Orca Whirlpools), HODLMM will feel familiar. If you're new to concentrated liquidity, the short version: you choose where on the price curve your liquidity sits, and you earn proportionally more fees the closer your bins are to the active trading price.
Before you start
A supported wallet connected to Bitflow (Leather or Xverse).
Enough STX in your wallet to cover transaction fees.
The two tokens you want to provide liquidity for, in your wallet.
Step 1: Open your first position
Head to the HODLMM section of the Bitflow app and pick a pool. When you open a position you'll make three decisions:
Token pair and amounts. How much of each token you want to deposit.
Price range. The lower and upper bound your liquidity will be active in.
Strategy shape. How your liquidity is distributed across the bins inside that range.

Step 2: Pick a strategy
HODLMM ships with three liquidity shapes. Pick the one that matches what you think the market will do:
🟦 SPOT: uniform distribution across your range. Versatile and risk-adjusted; the closest analogue to setting a price range on a CLMM.
🟨 CURVE: concentrated around the current price. Maximises capital efficiency; great for stables or pairs that rarely move far.
🟪 BID-ASK: inverse curve, typically deployed single-sided as a DCA-in or DCA-out strategy. Captures volatility when prices push outside their usual range.
Step 3: Manage the position
Once a position is open you can add or remove liquidity at any time, top up one side of the pair, or close out entirely.
