Getting Started

Prerequisites:

  • Whitelisted wallet address

  • Stacks-compatible wallet with about ~2 or 4 STX for Network fees/gas.

  • Security basics: Never share seed phrases (team will never ask); confirm you are on the beta URL; these are test tokens, report any suspicious activity/scams immediately.

Note: Please make sure to read all parts of this testing guide before you begin.

How to mint mock tokens (tUSDC/tSTX & tDOG/tBTC)

This early round of testing will happen on Stacks Mainnet using mock tokens.

For this early round of testing, we’re only using mock tokens, so there is no financial risk. However, since this is happening on mainnet, normal STX network/gas fees will still apply.

How to mint test tokens:

  1. Go to the DLMM pools page.

  2. Click on any test DLMM pool.

  3. Select the Mint Tokens tab.

  4. You’ll see two Mint buttons - one for each token. Click on the one you want to mint.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: After minting, DO NOT add 100% of your test tokens to the HODLMM Pools. Please save 25% of each test token you mint. You will need these to perform test swaps.

Note: If you’ve already minted that token, the button will be disabled. You will not be able to mint more.

Part 1 - Creating a Position

See available test pools

Note: Currently there are two test PAIRS, tUSDC/tSTX, tDOG/tBTC, & tUSDC/tUSDH.
• Note: There are two tUSDC-tSTX pools:
 ▪︎ HODLMM Pool #1: tSTX/tUSDC | Bin Step 10 | Base Fee 0.05%
▪︎ HODLMM Pool #2: tSTX/tUSDC | Bin Step 20 | Base Fee 0.00%

1.1) Add Liquidity: Explore All 3 Strategies & More (Spot / Curve / Bid‑Ask)

Using pair tUSDC/tSTX & tDOG/tBTC:

Start by opening three positions--one for each pool. There more pools and strategies you test, the better.

  • Use all strategies: Spot, Curve, and Bid-Ask, in no particular order. You decide.

  • ⚠️ Note: Perform 2-3 swaps (in any direction) before and after each new position you open. This is an equally important part of testing.

1.2) Single-sided liquidity

The HODLMM offers both, 1) double-sided, and 2) single-sided liquidity.

  • Provide Single-Sided Liquidity in at least ONE of the THREE positions you will open for each pool, tUSDC/tSTX and tDOG/tBTC.

  • ⚠️ Note: Perform 2-3 swaps (in any direction) before and after each new position you open. This is an equally important part of testing.

1.3) Degen Mode

Use your own strategy. Go beyond the presets, take full control and go full-custom. Stress-test the system!

  • Open multiple positions test your custom strategies.

  • ⚠️ Note: Perform 2-3 swaps (in any direction) before and after each new position you open. This is an equally important part of testing.

Part 2 - Managing Active Positions

2.1) Add More Liquidity

Step 1) From Your Positions > Click Add Liquidity on an open position.

Step 2) Repeat the Add Liquidity flow.

  • Funds aggregate into the same position. A new position is not created.

  • The position’s distribution/shape and bin allocations update to the sum of all adds (stacked strategies).

2.2) Remove Liquidity from Custom Price Range

Step 1) From Your Positions, click Remove Liquidity on an existing position.

  • Funds aggregate into the same position. A new position is not created.

Ⓘ Resources: Learn about how to Withdraw from a Custom Price Range in the How to Remove Liquidity guide.

Part 3 - Closing a Position

In this section, you will fully withdraw and close your position.

1.1) Remove Liquidity: Withdraw & Close Position

Step 1) From Your Positions, click Remove Liquidity on an existing position.
